Someone said at our Thanksgiving get together that they thought our Military leaders were in favor of the plan that was announced by the President last night. I haven't  heard any such support.. They must have been watching  CBS, NBC,ABC, CNN or MSNBC or been readiing the NewYork Times,  the Boston Globe,
The only comment I have heard from General McChristol is "We will try to make the strategy work, We will try our best."
McChristol asked for 40000 troops and he didn't ask for a withdrawal date (No intelligent military person would)
The last General that I know of who openly disagreed with the President was Macarthur and Truman promptly fired him.

As far as I'm concerned, This is just one more nail in the coffin top of the United States Of America by this President. I don't know of one thing he has done right. If we ever had a President who deserved to be Impeached it is Obama.

I hope there are cases working their way to the Supreme Court that will prove the Unconstitutionality of most of his policies

Sounds like resounding support for the new plan from the man in charge to me!

KABUL, Afghanistan (Dec. 2) - The statement of General Stanley McChrystal,
Commander NATO International Security Assistance Force and U.S. Forces
Afghanistan regarding the address by The President of the United States:

"The Afghanistan-Pakistan review led by the President has provided me with a clear military mission and the resources to accomplish our task. The clarity, commitment and resolve outlined in the President’s address are critical steps toward bringing security to Afghanistan and eliminating terrorist safe havens that threaten regional and global security.

of course, he didn't compare to what he asked for and didn't point out what he didn't ask for. At best I'd call it luke warm and again what most military men would say to about his boss's plan
